That, in 1983, at the National World Baton Twirling Federation Finals, the first round will consist of the athletes performing compulsories and Freestyle routines. Fifteen athletes with the highest combined scores will proceed to the second round. |

That compulsories are worth 25% and carried through to final round staying at 25%. 1st round freestyle is only for qualifying of top 15 but worth 75%. And added to 25% of compulsories for qualifying the top 15. 2nd round of top 15 will be freestyle 75%, compulsories 25% from first round to select top seven. 3rd round tabulation will be for those who made the top seven - 75% of 3rd round and 75% of semi-finals which is 2nd round averaged together to make 75%. Add that to 25% of the original compulsories for final tabulation of top 3. |
