1982 AGM MOTION #20
  That the rules and regulations for disqualification be read aloud, printed in the program and/or posted before the start of every sanctioned Twirl Canada Federation contest. This will be done in French and English where applicable and MUST be done in both languages at National events.

 

1982 SEM MOTION #??
  That all Canadian National and International be under the auspices of the Twirl Canada Federation Executive. If Twirl Canada rules and regulations are not complied with, the contest director will be required to appear before the discipline committee.

 

1982 FEM MOTION #??
  That revised rules and regulations be adopted as presented at the Executive Fall Meeting. They will be in effect January 1983. Revisions will only be accepted and passed at the AGM. Any revisions must be submitted in writing at least one month prior to the AGM.

 

1983 AGM MOTION #??
  That rules and regulations as submitted to the Technical Committee Meeting and finalized through workshops be approved effective January 1, 1984.

 

1983 FEM MOTION #??
  That the rule changes go into effect January 1, 1984.

 

1984 STM MOTION #22
  Ron Kopas moved that the Judges' Reps also take the responsibility of Rules Commissioner for the next 2 year period (1984-86), with Karen Woycenko in charge of individual event rules and Elaine Jacobs in charge of group event rules.

 

1985 STM MOTION #26
  Ellen Cook moved that any WBTF event rule change wanted in compulsories or scoring procedures be submitted to the National Technical Chairperson by the end of July for proposals to be presented to WBTF Summer Meeting in August.

 

1985 FTM MOTION #??
  That rule changes and minutes to be sent out to Technical Committee within 30 days of Technical Meeting.

 

1989 SBM MOTION #24 ** RESCINDED - 1995 FBM - MOTION #16
  Betty Infilise moved that a rule or procedure change made at the Technical Meeting immediately prior to the Canadian Championships unanimously approved by the Technical Committee may be put into effect immediately.

 

1992 FTM MOTION #52 (RATIFIED - 1992 FBM - MOTION #8)
  Jennifer Meron moved that judges receive copies of any rule changes immediately after approval and that manuals be updated after rule changes.
