This cost would be to a maximum of $60.00 for each province. These provinces would be required to submit videos of the Standardized Routines for Forward Motion, Pre-Medley, Pre-Solo Dance Twirl, Pre-Solo and Pre-2-Baton for use in the development of CBTF Judges and Coaches courses.

DIRECTIVE: Completed video tapes to be forwarded immediately to the National Video Librarian. Receipts must be provided. A panel of experienced M1 or M2 Judges shall give a grade to each routine.

Fees include attendance at all meetings and critiques if meals are not provided. Judges would receive a $25.00 maximum per diem (ie: $6-breakfast; $7-lunch; $12-dinner). Receipts must be provided. The event host would pay airfare/transportation and accommodation costs. To be reviewed on an annual basis.

INTENT: These are maximum figures. It was not the intent to pay the full amount if, for example, there was only one male athlete in a division.

  2. If there are fewer applicants than spots available for a particular event/division/level, then the team (contingent) will be established based on those applicants.
  3. If there are more applicants than spots available for a particular event/division/level, then CBTF will hold and fund a Qualifier Event for those events/divisions/levels.
  4. The OBTA will host an Open Competition on the same weekend.
  5. The Competition Director for the Qualifier Event will be determined by the CBTF Board of Directors.
  6. The Event is planned for the weekend of March 14/15, 2009 or the weekend of March 21/22, 2009 (in Ontario).

CLARIFICATION: as some of these manuals are very large, the purchaser's computer must be able to handle the size before it will be sent via email.

CLARIFICATION: any DVD's required for the particular course (eg: CBTF role model DVD is required for the M2/M3 courses) must be purchased through the CBTF Media Coordinator.

That the cost sharing policy for Canadians and Trials (International Cup or World Championship) be revised as follows:

  • The first $1000 of profit belongs to the Local Organizing Committee (LOC)
  • Profits in the range of $1001 – 21,000, will be shared as follows:
    • CBTF – 75% of the profit
    • Host – 25% of the profit
  • Profit exceeding $21,000 the LOC and the CBTF will share equally share this amount in a 50/50 ratio.

CBTF shall assume any losses that may result.

Clarification: The Open competition held in conjunction with the Canadian Winner/Championship event is considered to be part of the overall operating budget of that event. The Open competition held in conjunction with the International Cup Qualifier or the Canadian Team Trials in not considered to be part of the overall operating budget for that event.

Upon formal request (email to president a minimum of 45 days in advance of scheduled meeting dates) and approval by the CBTF executive, the CBTF will cover up to a maximum of the cost of travel (equivalent to the cost shared amount), the cost of hotel (equal to ½ a room per night), as well as the CBTF per diem for the days required to attend.
