CBTF is pleased to announce that Pom Pom Teams will be offered at the Canadian 2009 Open Group Competition on Tuesday June 30th. Teams who enter will perform for a panel of 2 judges who will provide a Critique Comment Sheet for each team and a score will be assigned however no placings will be given. Team members will receive a participation ribbon. 
 
Pom Pom Teams are a new CBTF Minor Event and we are excited to provide an opportunity for these groups to perform as well as introduce this new event to our members and the general public.  Other judges will have the opportunity to practice judge this event and coaches in the audience will have the chance to see how others have choreographed these routines.  We are hoping that this will encourage coaches to offer this event to "non-baton" children as a possible introduction to Baton Twirling.
