The tentative Competition Schedule is included in the brochure - it remains subject to change, based on entries. Participants should note that attendance at the Contingent Clinic on May 16 is mandatory for all contingent members.

Hotel Information

• The 2026 CBTF Team Trials is a Stay to Play competition.
• Hotel information is included in the brochure.
• Group Rate expires on Monday, March 30, 2026. Guests can still inquire about or book accommodation after this date, but the Group Rate will no longer be applicable.
• The residence does not reserve group blocks, availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Entries, Gym Rental, Advertising

• The entry deadline is April 1, 2026 11:59 pm CDT. All entries are timestamped by the online entry system. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Entries are done by online JotForm.

  Team entries are to be completed by the coach or the club director.
• All entry payments are by E-Transfer only. Send to: treasurercbtf [dot] ca (no e-transfer password is required). Payments must be received by the entry deadline (Wednesday, April 1, 2026 11:59 pm CDT – adjust for your local time zone) or be subject to penalty. A late payment fee of 10% or $50, whichever is greater, will be charged after the deadline for all fees associated with national events. Should the total amount, including penalty, still not be paid as at the competition date, the athlete(s) will be scratched from the program and not permitted to compete, and advertising may not appear in the souvenir program.
• IBTF has athlete forms that must be completed to be eligible to compete in Paris. The deadline for completing these forms is BEFORE the Canadian Team Trials, therefore CBTF is requiring these forms be completed as part of the Canadian Team Trials entry process. All athletes must complete the IBTF Athlete Forms by Wednesday, April 1, 2026 to be eligible to compete in the Canadian Team Trials. This will ensure that any athlete selected to the Canadian Contingent will meet the IBTF required forms deadline.

• IBTF has coach forms that must be completed to be eligible to coach in Paris. The deadline for completing these forms is BEFORE the Canadian Team Trials, therefore CBTF is requiring these forms to be completed as part of the Coach registration process for the Canadian Team Trials. All coaches must complete the IBTF Coach Forms by Wednesday, April 1, 2026 to be eligible to coach at the Canadian Team Trials. This will ensure that any coach joining the Canadian Contingent will be the IBTF required forms deadline.

Music
Coaches are asked to submit their music files (Freestyle Solo, Rhythmic Twirl, Freestyle Pair, Freestyle Team) by uploading to this link: https://u.pcloud.com/#/puplink?code=aR1XZimAxWQ7p5Q4OsQjsBm7dWX9YSkGX

All music files must follow the CBTF Music Labelling and Tagging protocol (https://cbtf.ca/article/music-labelling-and-tagging). Music tracks that do not conform to this standard are subject to a $25 per track fine.

Merchandise
Merchandise for the competition is available by pre-order! 

Deadline for online pre-orders is Monday, April 27, 2026.

Your order will be available for pick up at the competition gym during the Canadian Team Trials.  Specific details will be included in the competition information package.  CTT-specific merchandise will not be available on-site so please ensure that you pre-order to avoid disappointment.  There will be some general baton-themed merchandise available for purchase during the competition.
