1983 AGM MOTION #27
 

Betty Infilise moved that the following be added to the Policy Manual:

3.1
6. Costs incurred for rentals of conference meeting rooms (if applicable) and coffee.
7. Costs incurred for Canadian Final facility rental for competition and related expenses.
8. Pay for Judges' lunches plus volunteer worker's lunches for each full day of work.

  Sandra Watt moved that in the Policy Manual under Code of Ethics (c) Professionalism of Instructors/Coaches - #6 be removed from the Policy Manual and the Rules and Regulations - Page 9.

 

1984 AGM MOTION #30
  Sandra Watt moved that under the Code of Ethics in the Policy Manual, (c) Professionalism of Instructors/Coaches #6. become "A coach must advise athletes that she/he may be competing in that year."

  Betty Infilise moved that the Policy Manual be approved with amendments as read.

  Ron Kopas moved that a committee be formed to review the policy manual of the CBTF.

 

1990 FBM MOTION #8
  Elva Taylor moved that we accept the 1990 CBTF General Policy Manual as amended.

 

1996 SBM MOTION #8
  Cyndy Park moved to accept a revised CBTF Policy Manual dated this 5th of July 1996. It is hereby understood and agreed that this Manual replaces all previously printed policy manuals currently in circulation. Previous motions that may have been changed by acceptance of this new Policy Manual will consequently become null and void.

Ron Kopas moved that the "Athlete of the Year" point system be included in the CBTF Policy Manual.

Betty Davis moved that in the CBTF Policy Manual under Judges, Page 6 "Judges who fail to honour a signed contract without acceptable notification may be subject to a penalty."

Also, add under Penalties for Violations: "Monetary fines as deemed necessary by the Competition Director. The Record of Violation must be filled out."

 

BOD Conference Call Apr 13/08 MOTION #11
  Karen Gratton moved that the Board of Directors approve the return airfare (Toronto - Moncton), meals (CBTF per diem rates) and hotel (1 night's accommodation) expenses for Barry Nye to attend the Summer Board Meeting, July 4, 2008 in Moncton, New Brunswick in order to provide an overview of the work he has done on the CBTF Policy Manual, Constitution and Bylaws.

 

2012 FBM MOTION #14
  Joanne Moser moved that CBTF endorse the implementation of a policy regarding criminal record/background checks and vulnerable sector checks. Formal policy shall be included in CBTF’s policy manual forthwith upon approval by the CBTF Board of Directors.

Edie moved to accept the Minutes of the 2013 Annual General Meeting held on September 7, 2013 in Toronto, Ontario with one amendment:

  • It was noted that the Grievance Policy is a policy so it is to be removed from the Bylaws and only to be included in the CBTF Policy Manual.
