July 2, 2014 - The Lynda Garland "Award for Excellence" was presented for the sixth time at the Canadian Baton Twirling Championships in Calgary, Alberta. The recipient of Lynda Garland's "Award for Excellence" was Brenda Bennett, of Saskatoon.

July 1, 2014 - The set system for Day 4 of the 2014 Canadian Winner/Championships is attached below.

CBTF recognizes one Junior Athlete and one Senior Athlete, accumulating the highest number of points from individual events in Level A Championship Events and Level B Winner Events, from Provincials, Nationals, and Grand Nationals (excluding Freestyle).

Athletes achieving the Athlete of the Year awards are not eligible for this award.

February 12, 2014 - Please take note of the preliminary schedule for the 2014 Canadian Winner/Championships.

All coaches are encouraged to take a look at these lists to ensure no entries have been missed and that no one is entered in the wrong division.

Our Stampede Parade Routine is one combination that gets repeated twice to the set piece of music. This music will be looped so that it plays repeatedly for the 4.5km parade.

Special thanks to CBTF Group Rep, Maureen Johnson, for choreographing this fun routine for the Stampede Parade.

All members of the CBTF World Championships Contingent (athletes, coaches, judges, officials) are ambassadors for Baton Twirling in Canada and of the CBTF. This privilege is accompanied by certain expectations and responsibilities, as outlined in the attached Code of Conduct.

Canadian World Championship Athletes will participate in the Team Canada Secret Pal Exchange!

The objective is to foster team spirit and to help your Secret Pal feel happy, motivated and part of the team through little gifts, notes, cards, positive phrases, pictures etc.

Leah Howard, Contingent Manager, needs to collect some personal and health information from all athletes so she can better serve the needs of the Contingent members.

This form contains a release allowing team management to seek medical treatment for your child in the event of an emergency.

As part of the athlete accreditation process, the WBTF requires that all athletes provide a Health Certificate indicating they are in generally good health and are fit to compete.
