May 16, 2014 - The Orders of Appearance for Session 1 (Saturday May 17) of the 2014 Canadian Team Trials are attached below. Session 1 includes Junior Women Compulsories, Sr Women Short Program, Sr Men Short Program, Junior Pair Preliminary, Senior Pair Preliminary and Team Preliminary.

Canadian World Championship Athletes will participate in the Team Canada Secret Pal Exchange!

The objective is to foster team spirit and to help your Secret Pal feel happy, motivated and part of the team through little gifts, notes, cards, positive phrases, pictures etc.

Leah Howard, Contingent Manager, needs to collect some personal and health information from all athletes so she can better serve the needs of the Contingent members.

This form contains a release allowing team management to seek medical treatment for your child in the event of an emergency.

As part of the athlete accreditation process, the WBTF requires that all athletes provide a Health Certificate indicating they are in generally good health and are fit to compete.

The request form for Practice Gym Rental Time (available to Clubs, Teams or Individuals) is attached.

The Registration Form for the 2014 Pride of Canada Open Clinic is attached.

This form only needs to be used by Coach/Parent Observers OR by athletes that are not competing in the Canadian Winner/Championships or Maple Leaf Open.

Competing athletes should register for the Clinic using the Master Entry Form.

A few details to note:

March 17, 2014 - Four CBTF athletes were invited to compete at the recent Congressional Cup 2014 Invitational competition held at Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Maryland. CBTF Judge, Stephanie Hewis, was also invited to be part of the international judging panel.

February 10, 2014 - Elan Paluck, CBTF Technical Chair, today announced the result of the compulsory draw for the 2014 Canadian Team Trials (Saskatoon), Canadian Championships (Calgary) and the World Championships (Nottingham, England).

The SBTA is excitedly looking forward to seeing baton twirlers from coast to coast in Saskatoon Saskatchewan, from May 16 – 19, 2014 for the Canadian Team Trials and Northern Lights Open!

January 14, 2014 - The two judges that will represent Canada at the 2014 WBTF World Championships in Nottingham, England have been selected. Joining Ron Kopas (CBTF Judges' Rep) will be Stephanie Hewis.

The Head Judge shall act as liaison between the judges’ panel and the Competition Director and personnel and shall act as the representative of the judges’ panel.  The Head Judge shall communicate any messages or instructions from the Competition Director or competition personnel before, during and after the competition.
