The map below shows the relative locations of the 2016 National Winner/Championships competition venue (Grant MacEwan University) and the host hotels (Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel and MacEwan Residence). Information sheets for each are also attached.

May 15, 2016 - A few details to note:

Steven Kopas, Contingent Manager, needs to collect some personal and health information from all athletes so he can better serve the needs of the Contingent members.

This form contains a release allowing team management to seek medical treatment for your child in the event of an emergency.

All members of the CBTF World Championships Contingent (athletes, coaches, judges, officials) are ambassadors for Baton Twirling in Canada and of the CBTF. This privilege is accompanied by certain expectations and responsibilities, as outlined in the attached Code of Conduct.

The CBTF Contingent Hotel Worksheet and Payment Forms are now available.

A document and information checklist is also included.

Canadian World Championships Athletes will participate in the Team Canada Secret Pal Exchange!

The objective is to foster team spirit and to help your Secret Pal feel happy, motivated and part of the team through little gifts, notes, cards, positive phrases, pictures etc.

April 1, 2016 - Sponsorship and Souvenir Program Advertising package forms are available for download (below). Help support the premiere athletes in the country, vying for the opportunity to represent Canada at the 2016 World Baton Twirling Championships in Helsingborg, Sweden.

A variety of sponsorship packages, from Platinum to Contributor are avaialble.

March 24, 2016 - Three CBTF athletes competed at the recent Congressional Cup 2016 Invitational competition held at Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

March 24, 2016 - Jeff Johnson, CBTF Technical Chair, today announced the result of the compulsory draw for the 2016 Canadian Team Trials (Toronto), Canadian Championships (Edmonton) and the World Championships (Helsingborg, Sweden).

At the 2016 World Championships, athletes in the Junior divisions shall perform:

March 22, 2016 - Two judges will represent Canada at the 2016 World Championships in Helsingborg, Sweden. Joining Ron Kopas (CBTF World Judges' Rep) will be Jenna Jemieff.

A few details to note:

The map below shows the relative locations of the 2016 Team Trials competition venue (Abilities Centre) and the host hotel (Delta Toronto East).

The Delta Toronto East has been selected as the Host Hotel and has non-smoking rooms available at $149/night (single or double occupancy). All Team Trials participants are asked to stay at the Host Hotel.

As part of the athlete accreditation process, the CBTF requires that all athletes provide a Health Certificate indicating they are in generally good health and are fit to compete.
