  That the Public Relations Chairperson be responsible to the National President.

 

1983 AGM MOTION #??
  That Donna Jones be appointed Public Relations Chairperson, to be effective immediately.

 

1983 AGM MOTION #??
  That one person from each province be appointed to sit on the Public Relations Committee.

 

1984 AGM MOTION #??
  That a national VCR promotion tape be available free of charge including history, programs, aims and objectives of Twirl Canada Federation, segments of national, international, freestyle, solos and struts, which will be demonstrated on the tape. The new Executive should consider this for implementation to next year's program.

 

1984 FEM MOTION #13
  Betty Infilise moved that each provincial association be given a supply of these brochures (Sports Brochures) and that the remainder of the brochures be sold at $8.00 per hundred plus $2.00 handling charge.

 

1984 FEM MOTION #14
  Betty Infilise moved that the new CBTF logo be designed by Carrie McKitrick with final approval to be given by the Executive.

 

1984 FEM MOTION #15
  Carrie McKitrick moved that we recommend that all provincial associations use or add the new logo on all letterhead and promotional materials.

  Betty Infilise moved that Mr. Drane by asked to prepare a press code for approval at 1985 AGM.

  Betty Infilise moved that Carol Kuntz contact individuals recommended by this Executive and extend an invitation to become CBTF Patrons.

  Carrie McKitrick moved that 10,000 promotional brochures be reprinted at a cost of $415.

 

1986 SBM MOTION #??
  That Donna Jones continue as Public Relations Chairperson.

 

1991 SEM MOTION #7
  Elva Taylor moved that the CBTF Executive request black and white photos of high profile athletes within each province, plus a write-up on each individual. Information on high profile coaches would also be welcome for P.R. purposes.

 

Sept 16/07 Exec Conf Call MOTION #4
 

Karen Gratton moved that a complimentary copy of the CBTF promotional brochure be forwarded to all Types of new and renewal CBTF members.

DIRECTIVE: Gail Ashcroft, CBTF President, to coordinate the distribution of these to clubs with assistance from Sylvia Kernohan, CBTF Data Entry Coordinator.

 

2008 SBM MOTION #31
 

Karen Gratton moved to accept the 2008-2009 Budget as prepared and presented with the following amendments:

  1. A line called "Promotional Material" to be added to the 1st Vice President's budget in the amount of $1,000.00.
  2. Under Data Input, Fees Expenses be increased by $1,000.00 to cover needed computer program revisions (to complete transition of DOS to Windows transfer).

 

2008 FBM MOTION #14
  Gail Ashcroft moved that the Athletes’ Rep and 1st Vice-President, for scholarship and marketing purpose, respectively, work jointly with Sharp Baton to gain benefits for CBTF.

 

2008 FBM MOTION #18
  Karen Gratton moved that CBTF continue to produce the CBTF brochure using the existing version with the necessary information changes.
