July 2, 2014 - The Lynda Garland "Award for Excellence" was presented for the sixth time at the Canadian Baton Twirling Championships in Calgary, Alberta. The recipient of Lynda Garland's "Award for Excellence" was Brenda Bennett, of Saskatoon.

May 18, 2014 - The results from Session 3 (Final Round, Sunday May 18) of the 2014 Canadian Team Trials are attached below. Session 3 includes Final Round competition in all divisions: Junior Women, Senior Women, Senior Men, Junior Pair, Senior Pair and Team.

March 17, 2014 - Four CBTF athletes were invited to compete at the recent Congressional Cup 2014 Invitational competition held at Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Maryland. CBTF Judge, Stephanie Hewis, was also invited to be part of the international judging panel.

February 10, 2014 - Elan Paluck, CBTF Technical Chair, today announced the result of the compulsory draw for the 2014 Canadian Team Trials (Saskatoon), Canadian Championships (Calgary) and the World Championships (Nottingham, England).

January 14, 2014 - The two judges that will represent Canada at the 2014 WBTF World Championships in Nottingham, England have been selected. Joining Ron Kopas (CBTF Judges' Rep) will be Stephanie Hewis.

December 11, 2013 - Effective immedately, for select transactions the Canadian Baton Twirling Federation will now accept eTransfer payments from clubs and/or provinces. This option is not necessarily available to all, but for those that are able to use it, it’s a preferred form of payment. For the various transactions, please see below.

Three new pilot projects are being introduced this year. These initiatives form one part of a strategy that the CBTF Technical Committee is using to help improve Canada's international standing.

October 3, 2013 - The Canadian Baton Twirling Federation (CBTF) announced today that its Board of Directors, at their recent Fall Conference, have accepted the Nova Scotia Twirling Association (NSTA) as the provincial federation representing Nova Scotia.

The CBTF is now active with provincial organizations in eight provinces across the country:
