2015 International Cup Contingent Team Managers Selected

April 21, 2015 - Today the Canadian Baton Twirling Federation announces that Leah Howard, DC, and Nancy Lightheart have been selected to be the Team Managers for the Canadian Contingent to the 2015 WBTF International Cup in Abbotsford, Canada.

The CBTF Executive acted as the selection committee. The committee was chaired by President (CBTF President).

Leah holds an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She has been in practice since her graduation in 2011. Leah was previously the CBTF Contingent Team Manager in 2013 (International Cup, Netherlands) and 2014 (World Championships, England).

Nancy holds a degree in Physical Education with a specialization in Athletic Therapy from the University of Alberta. Nancy brings a life-long history of involvement in Baton Twirling. She represented Canada at the World Championships from 1987-1991 and was a member of Canada's gold-medal winning Team in 1991. She currently holds CBTF L1 and L2 coaching certification and CBTF M1, M2, M3 and M4 judging certification.

Leah and Nancy will be working with the coaches and athletes named to the 2015 Canadian Contingent in the months leading up to the International Cup.
